Description: The Medium Voltage Detector is a product intended to detect events occurring in medium voltage electrical
Voltage up to 34.5 kV. It uses a system to read the voltage in the network and current, which indicates
permanent shutdown and restart events.
The measurements are taken every 10 seconds, and once the system is sensitized to an event, the
information is transmitted through the Sigfox network.
The message is then directed to a local server, informing the identification number as well as all the events
detected on the network. This server is responsible for managing the information exchange of all detectors
installed by the customer. The information is interpreted and re-encapsulated in DNP3 protocol, receiving a
time stamp and allowing direct communication with SCADA of the distributor's operations center.
Application voltage: up to 34.5kV
Detection range: 10-second
Autonomy: 48 hours
Operating temperature range: -40 to 85 °C
Maintenance-free power system using a combination of ultra-capacitors and solar panel
